Terms

The operating terms for using Luota.

Last updated: April 30, 2026. These terms are intentionally plain: Luota watches operational workflows, stores evidence for a bounded period, and helps you respond when the work breaks.

Using the service

Luota keeps operating records for scheduled jobs, async tasks, imports, syncs, reports, billing tasks, and freshness checks. You may use it only for lawful purposes and only with data you have the right to send.

Accounts and workspace responsibility

You are responsible for workspace configuration, ingest tokens, alert destinations, monitor schedules, runbook links, and operational actions taken from Luota incidents. Keep credentials, ingest tokens, and webhook destinations secure.

Service limits

Plan limits, retention windows, monitor limits, payload limits, output limits, and rate limits are part of the service contract. Luota may reject requests that exceed the published API limits or that look abusive.

Billing

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Fees are billed in advance on a monthly cycle unless a different written agreement exists. Entitlements change only after Stripe webhook confirmation. If Stripe marks a subscription inactive, canceled, unpaid, or otherwise not current, Luota may return the workspace to Free plan limits.

Data portability and deletion

Workspace owners may request export or deletion of workspace data Luota controls. Live data deletion is handled directly; encrypted backup expiry follows the documented backup retention window. Billing records may remain where tax, accounting, or payment obligations require retention.

Availability and operational judgment

Luota is a commercial software service, not a guaranteed safety system. Monitoring failures, third-party outages, alert delivery failures, customer misconfiguration, and internet interruptions can happen. Keep independent operational judgment for critical systems.

Prohibited use

Do not use Luota to store secrets, payment card data, health records, illegal content, or payloads that exceed your right to process. Do not attack, overload, reverse engineer abuse controls, or use the service to monitor unlawful activity.

Liability and support

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Luota is provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability. Luota is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from missed alerts, downtime, or third-party failures. Support requests go to the founder.
