What does Luota monitor?

Luota monitors async workflows such as scheduled jobs, webhooks, queue workers, billing syncs, report delivery, generated-output jobs, and data freshness checks. The point is to prove the work completed, not only that a server responded.

How is Luota different from uptime monitoring?

Uptime monitoring tells you whether a service responded. Luota watches the background work behind the service: whether the job ran, finished on time, and produced current customer-facing output.

How is Luota different from Sentry, Cronitor, or Healthchecks?

Keep those tools if they already work for you. Luota is useful when a ping, exception, or uptime check is not enough and you need workflow evidence, run history, freshness checks, owner context, and one incident record.

Does Luota have an API?

Yes. Luota has documented ingest endpoints for heartbeat, run lifecycle, and freshness signals. Teams can send signals from cron jobs, workers, CI jobs, webhooks, scripts, or backend services.

Which integrations are available today?

Luota supports Slack and email alerting, webhook alert destinations, monitor-scoped ingest tokens, and a Postman collection for testing the ingest API. Broader integrations are added only when real workflow demand justifies them.

What support does Luota provide?

Luota currently provides email support through support@luota.dev plus public documentation, examples, and workflow pages. Luota does not currently offer phone support, a public forum, or staffed live chat.

Where is Luota deployed?

Luota is a cloud SaaS product. The production service runs on an EU-hosted Hetzner server, with encrypted off-host backups in Cloudflare R2.

What data should I send in payloads?

Send safe operational evidence such as IDs, timestamps, provider event IDs, status values, deploy SHAs, and short summaries. Do not send raw access tokens, full customer PII, full email bodies, or secrets.

Can I start with one workflow?

Yes. The recommended first setup is one critical workflow, one alert destination, and one deliberate failure drill. That proves whether Luota catches the failure you actually care about before you monitor more.

How does Team Early Access work?

Team Early Access is EUR 79/month with founder onboarding and manual activation while self-serve Team checkout is finalized. It is meant for shared ownership, member routing, audit history, and longer evidence retention.
