Pricing for workflows, not pings.

Start free for 5 workflows. Upgrade when retained evidence, webhook alerts, imports, and a longer history become part of the operating promise.

Team

Early access

For teams that share ownership of billing, reports, syncs, and customer-facing background work.

Choose Team when multiple people own routing, roles, and audit history.

  • 100 workflows
  • 90-day evidence
  • Owner, admin, and member roles
  • Member-pinned alert routing
  • Workspace audit log
  • Ownership transfer
  • Founder onboarding included

per month, manual activation

Team controls

Team is priced; activation is still manual during early access.

Team workspaces can invite members, assign owner/admin/member roles, transfer ownership, pin alert destinations to a member, and review changes in the audit log. Stripe self-serve remains Operator-only while Team checkout is finalized; founder onboarding is included at €79/month.

€79/mo

Packet envelope

Pricing buys retained workflow capacity, not telemetry volume.

Luota charges for the operational promises you need proof for: how many workflows stay active, how long their evidence is retained, and which routes can carry incidents. Billing changes stay in Stripe; product access changes only after the webhook confirms the subscription state.

Unit

Per workflow

A workflow is one customer-visible promise: billing access changed, a report delivered, generated output appeared, or a freshness source stayed current.

Limits

Packet count + retention

Free is 5 workflows with 7-day evidence. Operator is 25 workflows with 30-day evidence. Team is 100 workflows with 90-day evidence during early access.

No traps

No event-volume pricing

Pricing is not based on raw pings, run count, seats, or alert volume. Plan limits are about how many operating promises Luota keeps inspectable.

Truth

Stripe confirms access

Checkout redirects are not treated as entitlements. The app changes plan state only after Stripe webhook confirmation and shows pending state while it waits.

Buyer record

Check product behavior, public controls, and billing state before choosing a plan.

Luota is pre-customer, so the commercial site shows product behavior, public controls, and buying mechanics directly. No invented testimonials, logo walls, or compliance claims.

Product record

Actual surfaces, not borrowed credibility

Inspect the dashboard, monitor detail, incident record, demo workspace, and deliberate failure drill before trusting the product.

Public controls

Controls and limits are public

Review the current security posture, privacy terms, DPA, subprocessor list, disclosure path, and live service status.

Billing state

Buying rules match product limits

Confirm workflow limits, retention, Stripe responsibility, cancellation behavior, and what changes after checkout.

Transaction details

What changes, when, and what happens if Stripe is slow.

The audit-grade version of the billing story. Read it once here so you do not have to debug entitlements after a checkout redirect. Full billing policy →

On upgradeWhat changes on upgrade.
Workflow cap goes 5 → 25. Evidence retention goes 7 days → 30 days. Webhook alerts are added alongside Slack and email. Timeline payload context becomes visible per run. Healthchecks and Cronitor importers become available. No new menu, no enterprise-only screen — the existing surfaces just stop being capped.
After checkoutPlan flips after the webhook, not the redirect.
Stripe redirects you back to Luota after checkout. The plan does not change yet. A few seconds later (sometimes longer if Stripe is slow), the webhook lands and Luota flips your entitlements. The workspace shows a webhook-pending banner during that window so it is never silent.
Webhook delayIf the webhook is late, the banner stays.
If Stripe and Luota fall out of sync for more than a few minutes, the webhook-pending banner stays up — and the workspace keeps the previous plan's limits until the webhook reconciles. We never optimistically grant access from a redirect parameter; checkout is not a contract.
CancellationCancellation is scheduled, not retroactive.
Cancel from the Stripe portal. The current period stays paid through the renewal date. Operator features remain active until that date; Luota then drops you back to Free at the period boundary. Monitor data is retained per the new plan's window — no data is hard-deleted at cancellation.

Plan fit

Decide without emailing first.

The first buying decision should be whether one workflow is worth proving, not whether the packaging has hidden event-volume traps.

What counts as a workflow?
One monitored business promise: a cron job, run lifecycle, webhook follow-up, report delivery, generated-output job, or freshness source.
Do I need a credit card for Free?
No. Free covers five workflows so you can prove the first healthy path and broken path before upgrading.
What happens after retention expires?
Run, heartbeat, and incident evidence ages out according to the active plan. Monitor configuration remains until you delete it.
Can I export runs and incidents?
Yes. Workspace export includes monitor configuration, redacted alert settings, runs, heartbeats, incidents, timeline events, and audit history.
Are Slack, email, and webhooks included?
Slack and email are included on Free and Operator. Webhook alerts are included on Operator and Team.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancellation is scheduled through Stripe and Operator access stays active until the paid period ends.

Billing state

The billing surface inside the product matches the pricing page.

Plan, subscription state, and billing email all stay visible in the workspace. No mismatched truth between marketing and the app.

  • Current plan. Free or Operator, with workflow count and retention shown live, not buried.
  • Renewal & cancellation state. Next renewal date, or the date the plan ends if you scheduled cancellation.
  • Billing email. Stripe sends invoices and receipts here; editable via the portal.
  • Webhook-pending banner. Visible in the app while Stripe finalizes a checkout — surfaced, not hidden.
  • Customer portal link. One click opens Stripe-hosted card update, invoices, and cancellation.
